Day 1
Welcome to Cairo. You’ll be met on arrival, guided through formalities, and escorted by private transfer to your five-star hotel. Where you can enjoy the evening at leisure.
Arrival in Cairo
Day 2
After breakfast, I’ll meet you in the lobby and personally guide you to Saqqara, where we’ll explore the Step Pyramid complex and its exquisite tombs. We’ll continue into the Serapeum of Saqqara to walk the underground galleries of the Apis bulls—an atmospheric highlight I’ll bring to life with stories and context. From there, I’ll take you on to Dahshur to admire the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid up close, with time for photos and a relaxed stroll. In the late afternoon, I’ll accompany you back to your hotel for a comfortable evening at leisure.

Day 3
The Pyramids & The Egyptian Museum
At breakfast, I’ll meet you before we continue to the Giza Plateau. We’ll step straight into the heart of the pyramids complex—lingering at the Great Pyramid, then gliding down to meet the Sphinx up close—while I handle timing, tickets, and the best photo angles so you can simply enjoy. For lunch, I’ve reserved a coveted rooftop table with sweeping pyramid views. Afterward, I’ll lead a polished, highlights-driven tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum, focusing on masterworks and hidden gems. In the early evening, I’ll have our bus tickets ready and seats arranged for a smooth ride to Alexandria; on arrival, I’ll escort you to your hotel, manage check-in, and make sure everything’s perfectly set for a relaxed night.

Day 4
Alexandria Highlights
After a calm morning we’ll make our way through Alexandria. We’ll begin at the Qaitbay Citadel for a curated walk and photos, then continue to the Kom el-Shoqafa Catacombs to experienc one of the most interesting places in all of Egypt. After lunch we’ll stop at the Roman Theatre at Kom el-Dikka before concluding with a tailored overview of the legendary Bibliotheca Alexandrina before I escort you back to your hotel and ensure a smooth, comfortable evening in Alexandria.

1 day in Cairo
Day 5
After breakfast, we’ll make our way back to Cairo. Once there, I’ll guide you through Coptic Cairo—beginning at the Hanging Church, then continuing to Abu Serga, where tradition tells the Holy Family once sheltered. We’ll also visit the historic Ben Ezra Synagogue. After a refined lunch, we’ll drive up to Salah al-Din’s Citadel for a curated walk, including the Alabaster Mosque and a glimpse into the private quarters where the ruler’s household once lived. We’ll conclude with an unhurried stroll through Khan el-Khalili’s storied lanes for atmosphere and selected stops. Before we continue to the airport for a flight to Hurghada.

Day 6
The day is yours at your luxury resort. Linger by the water, take a swim in the Red Sea, or simply unwind in comfort. If you wish, we’ll arrange private snorkeling or diving among vibrant coral reefs, or reserve a refined seaside dinner.

3 days in Luxor
Day 7
Winter Palace Gardens and Leisure
After breakfast, our bus transfer will be waiting, to take us to Luxor (about 4 hours), with chilled water and a smooth ride. On arrival, I’ll handle check-ins at our hotel. The rest of the day is yours to unwind—stroll the Winter Palace’s historic gardens, linger by the terraces, or let me arrange a table at one of its classic restaurants. Evening at leisure.
Day 8
Karnak Temple Complex
Your morning is at leisure. Around midday, we will transfer for check-in aboard the M/S Magic, where a relaxed lunch awaits. Afterward, I’ll escort you to the vast Karnak Temple for a focused, story-led visit—this is the great temple of temples. We’ll step into the Hypostyle Hall (about 5,000 m²), weaving between its 134 columns set in 16 rows; the two central rows rise higher, with columns roughly 10 meters in circumference and 24 meters tall. I’ll handle timing, guiding and tickets so you can take it in at your own pace. Before we return to the ship for dinner on board.
Day 9
Valley of the Kings & Sail off
After our breakfast, I’ll guide you into the Valley of the Kings for a curated visit to three of the most striking tombs open today—paced for comfort, with stories that bring the walls to life and time for photos. We’ll continue to Hatshepsut’s majestic terrace temple, then pause at the Colossi of Memnon for a close look and panoramic shots.
By midday, we cast off from Luxor and sail toward Esna, gliding through the new lock with a glimpse of the 19th-century original beside it. We spend the afternoon on deck as the river scenery unfolds and continue to Edfu for dinner and an overnight aboard.

1 day on the Nile
Day 10
Leisure on the Nile & Edfu
After breakfast, we’ll go ashore for a guided visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu—the largest and best-preserved sanctuary on the Nile. I’ll pace the tour for comfort and bring the reliefs and rituals to life while you enjoy unhurried time for photos. We’ll return to the ship for lunch, then sail south toward Aswan, watching palm groves and desert escarpments slip by from the sundeck. Dinner and overnight is spent aboard as we arrive in Egypt’s southern gateway, just north of the High Dam.

Day 11
Unfinished Obelisk & Philae
After breakfast, I’ll take you to the granite quarries to see the Unfinished Obelisk—an extraordinary window into ancient craftsmanship, still lying where it cracked. We’ll continue by boat to Philae, where I’ll guide you through the Temple of Isis—one of Egypt’s most graceful sanctuaries—with time for quiet corners and photos. After a relaxed lunch back on board, we’ll sail a traditional felucca among Aswan’s cataracts and palm-fringed islets, letting the afternoon unfold. Dinner and overnight will be spent on board.

Before first light, I’ll meet you for an early breakfast and a smooth departure by bus to Abu Simbel for a curated visit to the rock-cut temples of Ramses II and Nefertari. You’ll get unhurried time inside, the best photo angles outside, and stories that bring their relocation and reliefs to life. By afternoon we’ll be back in Aswan, with time to unwind on board before dinner and a restful overnight on the ship.

Day 13
Leisure on the Nile & Kom Ombo
At first light, we sail off toward Kom Ombo. After breakfast, I’ll accompany you ashore for a guided visit to the twin Temple of Kom Ombo—celebrating the crocodile-headed god Sobek—paced for comfort with time for photos. We return to the ship as we set our course back toward Luxor. Watch life unfold as you pass along the river before dinner and overnight on board.

Day 14
We continue sailing toward Luxor this morning. If we clear the Esna lock early, I’ll be ready with an optional West Bank add-on—Deir el-Medina, Medinet Habu, and the Ramesseum—paced for comfort and photos. After lunch, join me on the sundeck for a relaxed recap talk and open Q&A.
In the evening, I’ll guide you through Luxor Temple under lights—an atmospheric finale. You’ll notice one obelisk missing from the entrance; its twin stands today at Paris’ Place de la Concorde. Dinner and overnight on board.

After an early breakfast, I’ll meet you for a smooth private transfer to Luxor Airport—bags handled & boarding passes arranged. I’ll see you through check-in and security, then you’ll fly to Cairo for your onward connection home to Scandinavia. I’ll monitor timings, coordinate any assistance at the gate, and ensure a calm, comfortable departure.
