M/S Magic 1
Nile Cruiser

Days on Magic 1 move at river tempo: wide sun deck, blue water in the pool, palms and village life sliding by. Inside, it’s a classic floating-hotel layout—light public rooms for coffee and reading, a lounge that shifts from quiet in the afternoon to easy music after dinner, and a main restaurant that keeps things unhurried and buffet-led.
Cabins are simple and comfortable, with large windows to the Nile and practical touches (A/C, TV, minibar). Inventory is generous—roughly 68–72 cabins including a handful of suites—so you can prioritize deck and view over category. If you like sunrises, choose higher decks; if you prefer calm, ask for midship.
The pleasure here is time between the sites: a swim before lunch, a book on a lounger while the boat clears a lock, tea as the light goes long. Evenings usually add low-key entertainment—folklore nights, a Galabeyah party, maybe a turn in the small bar—enough atmosphere without crowding the day.
Facilities cover the basics for a week on the river: sun-deck pool with loungers, main lounge/bar plus smaller bars, a reading room, billiards, small shops, and laundry. Wi-Fi/“internet corner” is typically available but can be slow on the move; plan to download before sailing.
Built 2000 and refurbished 2023, Magic 1 reads as a well-kept, mid-size cruiser—about 72 m long—with multi-lingual crew and a practical, traveler-first feel. Book it when you want the classic Nile rhythm and a comfortable ship that keeps the river front and center.
