3 days in Cairo
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Arrive in Cairo this afternoon, where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. After assistance at the airport, you’ll be escorted to your private transfer and driven directly to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, with time to relax after your journey and prepare for the discoveries ahead.
Day 2: The Pyramids & Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel and take you on a journey to the legendary Giza Plateau. Stand before the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx as your guide shares the fascinating stories behind these ancient wonders. If you wish, you may also enjoy a camel ride, taking in panoramic views of the pyramids in the distance.
A relaxed lunch will follow, before continuing to the Egyptian Museum. Here you will explore its unrivaled collection of treasures, from intricate artifacts to the world-famous Tutankhamun galleries. In the late afternoon, return to your hotel for an evening at leisure.
Day 3: Saqqara, Khan El Khalili & Flight to Luxor
This morning, your guide will take you to Saqqara, home to the Step Pyramid of Djoser — the earliest large-scale stone construction in history. Explore this remarkable site and learn how it paved the way for the great pyramids of Giza.
Afterward, enjoy lunch before immersing yourself in the lively atmosphere of Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s famous bazaar. Wander through its maze of narrow streets filled with vibrant colors, artisan crafts, and the scent of spices, with time to browse or simply soak up the energy.
Later in the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and escorted to your hotel, where you will check in and settle in for the evening.
2 days in Luxor
Day 4: Karnak & Luxor Temples, Nile Cruise Embarkation
Begin your day with a guided visit to the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever built and a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture. Walk among towering columns and sacred halls as your guide reveals the significance of this extraordinary site.
Afterward, you will board your Nile cruise ship and check in. Enjoy a leisurely lunch on board as you settle into your cabin and take in the views of the river.
In the late afternoon, your guide will accompany you to the beautifully illuminated Luxor Temple. Stroll through its grand avenues and courtyards as the golden light of dusk adds to its timeless atmosphere. Return to your cruise for dinner and your first night on the Nile.
Day 5: Valley of the Kings & Temple of Hatshepsut
This morning, cross to the West Bank of the Nile for a guided exploration of the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs of the New Kingdom were laid to rest in elaborately decorated tombs. Step inside a selection of tombs and admire the vivid colors and intricate hieroglyphs that have endured for millennia.

Day 6: Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

Return to your cruise ship for lunch on board, then enjoy a relaxing afternoon as the ship continues its journey along the Nile.
In the early evening, arrive at Kom Ombo and visit its unique double temple, dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon.
